Holiday Wedding Color Palettes That Aren't Red & Green

The Barn at Belle Hills • November 26, 2025

Holiday weddings are nothing short of magical. Whether you have a snowy landscape or twinkling snowdrop lights above your dance floor, a winter wedding is one of our favorites to plan. Of course, if you search “winter wedding color palette,” you’ll most likely be inundated with red and green. While this color combination is beautiful, it’s not the only winter or fall wedding color palette out there! If you want to explore more holiday and fall wedding color palettes, you are in the right place. Here are some of our favorite color combinations for holiday weddings:

ivory and gold

Do you love effortless elegance? Ivory and gold are a color combination that we’re loving for that reason. Ivory creates a warm, soft tone, and gold creates a holiday glow. It’s the perfect look for couples who want their wedding to remain understated yet inviting. To bring these colors to life even more, bridesmaids can wear dresses in various shades of cream, and groomsmen can incorporate subtle metallic touches to enhance this palette.

navy and silver

If you adore a deep, moody color palette that embraces those long, beautiful winter nights, then we recommend navy and silver. Navy offers a rich, visually intriguing feel while silver provides just the right amount of sparkle and light. This color combination can come to life through shimmering table runners, silver cutlery, and navy floral arrangements. This palette also pairs well with various white florals and greenery, creating a crisp look that still feels inviting and warm.

emerald and champagne

Though a unique combination, emerald and champagne are perfect for a lush, romantic look. Emerald brings a touch of sophistication, while champagne lightens things up to avoid going too dark. Florals can also remain neutral, allowing the color story to shine through this combination. Especially beautiful against rustic wood beams or vaulted ceilings, we see this palette coming together beautifully at our Kentucky barn wedding venue.
